About Us:

Daniel

I was raised by a godly mother who taught me at an early age the importance of trusting the Lord. When I was 10 years old I made a profession of faith. However, I was 24 years old when I finally had assurance of my salvation and then was scripturally baptized. About seven years later, in the fall of 2001, I surrendered my life to the Lord to go to South Korea where my parents were missionaries until 1980. In December 2004 I graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College with a B.A. in Church Ministries with a missions emphasis.

DeLana

I was saved at an early age and then baptized during my college years.  God gave me a heart for missions because of a pastor who had many missionaries come and share their ministries to the church and also because of the opportunity to go to Mexico as a teenager.  I have come to love the Korean people and am ready to get started in ladies' Bible studies and children's ministries as soon as we get to Gangneung, South Korea.

Brianna

Brianna is 20 years old. Her birthday is March 15.  She was saved when she was 8 and was baptized on Easter Sunday in 2001. She likes to play the piano and read. Brianna has displayed boldness in sharing the gospel with friends and neighbors. The Lord has allowed her to lead a neighbor girl to Him.  Brianna has completed three semesters as a student at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  Today Brianna lives at home with her younger sister and is looking for a full time job that will allow her to save money to go back to school.  She desires to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He allows.

Alyssa

Alyssa is finishing up her freshman year of college at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  Her birthday is June 27. She was saved at the age of 7, and was baptized with Brianna on Easter Sunday 2001. Alyssa also plays piano, but her favorite instrument is the flute.  She is an avid reader.  God has given her a compassionate heart and is preparing herself to serve the Lord. At college she is majoring in cross cultural studies and minoring in Spanish and sign language.  She is hoping to go to graduate school after college and study linguistics.  She believes the Lord would have her work to share the gospel with the Spanish deaf.

David

David is our only son. He is 17 and in 11th grade. He was born on March 7, 1996 and was then born into Godís family on Christmas Eve 2001. David was scripturally baptized on May 20, 2008. David loves history and is doing quite well in all of his subjects.  He is praying for God's leading as he finishes up his high school education.  He has also started driving and has been a big help in that area during our long trips.

Emily

Emily is 14 and was born on July 22, 1998. She is a 9th grader. She was saved at the age of 5, led to the Lord by Brianna.   She was baptized on Febuary 22, 2009 following Danís ordination service and our commissioning service.  She has a sweet spirit and is willing to help out wherever she can. She will miss her friends here in the states, but is looking forward to making many new friends in Korea.  She loves to keep in touch with all of her friends she has met along the way.
